Full Text Search

This feature allows you to search the site(s) of your choice for any piece of content. This search feature is text-based and will only return content pieces with the selected words.

| Edit the item and review the Body section to ensure that you have successfully created one or more scopes with one or more sites. |

Advanced E-mail Form
|
|
This feature allows to create forms, surveys and questionnaires and incorporate them into your site. When completed, you can specify to which email address the forms will be sent.

CIM Service Plugins
Bulletin Board
|
|
This feature provides a discussion forum for your site users to share ideas, ask questions and interact with each other.
|
|

Bulletin Boards are displayed on your CIM site using a plugin, but are created in the CIM BB service. Log in to http://bb.cimnet.ca to create a BB and assign read, post, and delete permissions.

Calendar
|
|
This feature provides a CIM Calendar for creating and editing a Calendar on your site. You can create and edit events within your Calendar.

Calendars are displayed on your CIM site using a plugin, but are created in the CIM Calendar service. Log in to http://calendar.cimnet.ca to create a Calendar and assign permissions. Events must also be created using the CIM Calendar service.

| Edit your calendar plugin item and check the Calendar Template and PrinterFriendly Template. Make sure that your Calendar Template is NOT a printer friendly template because they do not include view options and event links. |

Maps
|
|
The CIM Map application is a CIMTool for creating and editing Map Files. These Map Files may be displayed within a CIM Site using the CIM Map Plugin.

Map files are displayed on your CIM site using a plugin, but are created in the CIM Map and Data service. Log in to http://map.cimnet.ca to create a Map File, configure views, and assign permissions.

Optional Site Features
Content Stack
|
|
This feature displays your current location on the site and identifies the page path taken to get to that location. If configured to use links, you can click on a name to change to an earlier page in the path.

|
New and Updated Status
|
|
This feature allows you to mark new and updated items by entering a value for how many days you wish for a new or updated graphic to be displayed next to the current item.
|
|
Alternate Content Wrappers
|
|
This feature allows you to present your content in different visual formats - providing you with increased content flexibility.
|
|
 |
| Select an Override Template in the Other section of the content editing window. If none are available, contact your Site Administrator for assistance. |
|
Menu Subheadings
|
|
This feature allows you to create menu subheadings that collapse and expand by clicking on the major heading.
|
|
 |
| Select a nonzero Heading Level to choose the subheading position for a menu item. If this doesn't seem to work, the menu has not been configured to use subheadings. Contact your Site Administrator for assistance. |

Language Support
|
|
Sites can be configured to support a 'French Version', with alternative variables and content. French support is partial at this time; updates to more complete support, and support of other languages, is being evaluated.
|
|
 |
| Both the Title and Body components have English and French editing fields, allowing you to easily edit and translate corresponding content in both languages. |
