New Editing Buttons After logging in to your updated (Version 2.0) site, you'll see new and updated editing buttons. If you have regular style editing buttons, rolling your mouse over them will show the button name in a tool tip. If they are popup style, clicking on the pencil will pop up all the buttons with their names. Insert works similarly to the previous Add, Edit is essentially the same as before, Cut moves an item to the clipboard, Copy copies an item to a clipboard, and Delete moves an item to the trash. If Cut, Copy, or Delete are performed on an item with child items, the child items are copied or moved with the parent. In other words, if you perform one of these actions on a menu item, the items it links to are cut, copied, or deleted with it. Move Up and Move Down are no longer available, but Cut and Insert (Paste) can be used as a replacement and can do much more than move an item around in one chain. Items can be cut or copied and then pasted into different pages.

Insert Wizard If the Insert button is selected, the new Insert Wizard appears. If there are any items in the current chain, you can choose to insert before or after the current item (after is default). If you choose to paste from clipboard or recover from trash, clicking the Next button will take to to the Clipboard or Trash, where you can select your item and Finish. If you choose to create a new item, you can choose public readability, enter a title, and select a plugin; clicking the Next button will take you to the body page of the editing window for the plugin you selected.

Item History When you edit an existing content item, you'll find that the Edit Window is much the same as before, except it has a new History pane. Here you'll be able to view all versions of the item from 'Created', or if the item existed before the History feature, from 'Upgraded'. Cutting/Pasting and Deleting/Recovering are shown in an item's history. If an item is Copied, the original keeps its history and the new one starts fresh from the copy. Clicking on the (load) link next to a history entry reloads the Edit Window in with the former version, allowing the user to save and essentially 'revert' or 'undo' changes.
